What are Head Lice?

Head lice are wingless insects that spend their entire lives on the human scalp and feeding exclusively on human blood.

Some people also refer to them as Nits or Cooties.

Adult length between 0.25 – 0.3 cm so very tiny and often hard to see especially in light coloured hair.
